T0 - off the form
The T0 finish has no post processing apply to the surface. The piece is left as is coming out of the form.
T1 - smooth
The T1 finish is achieve by treating the surfaces with a light abrasive pad to smooth out small blemishes. Any pockets or bug holes greater than 1/4” will be filled in with sacking material.
T2 - Acid Etch
The T2 finish is achieve by applying a water & acid mixture which remove a thin layer of cement paste to expose the natural sand in the piece. This finish provides an even texture & consistent color across the piece
T3 - sandblast
The T3 finish is achieve by lightly blasting the surface of the piece with a light abrasive sand which exposes some of the fine aggregate. The surface amplitude is 1/8”.
T4 - medium sandblast
The T4 finish is achieve by blasting the surface of the piece with a medium abrasive sand which exposes some of the fine & medium sized aggregate. The surface amplitude is 3/16”.
T5 - rough surface
The T5 finish is achieve by blasting the surface of the piece with a heavy abrasive sand which exposes some of the fine, medium, & large sized aggregate. The surface amplitude is 1/4”.
p1 - polish
The P1 finish is achieved by a wet abrasive polishing pad which cuts the surface to a smooth finish while also exposing some of the fine aggerate.
p2 - medium polish
The P2 finish is achieved by a medium wet abrasive polishing pad which cuts the surface to a smooth finish while also exposing some of the fine & medium aggerate.
Colors shown are approximate laboratory samples made with Portland Type II cement, native sand, and native aggerate. Due to varying condition during production actual colors may vary from the chart above. The selected texture will also have an effect on the actual color as the color of the aggerate may be exposed. Physical samples available upon request. Custom colors available upon request.
